Shakespeare Souffle#24

Shakespeare Souffle #24. Dec 2, 2005. Kim talks acupuncture. Ouch! Christmas. We found an old song of Ken’s “Untitled_C”. Kim’s blog/podcasting ideas. Chicken Shwarma at the Jerusalem Cafe. Ego surfing. Shout out to John Smith, Megan Taylor, Sarah Jones (all of them), and Chauncey Beauregard. How many times have we called Poison Control? Find out this and puzzling quandaries such as where we’ve been, how you should resubscribe and who we love. Do you like tales of pain and acupuncture? Then you should tune in as well!

We welcome comments….most of all we want MP3s of your comments and music and hommage to us for our one year anniversary of podcasting. Come on, we cranked out 2 a month for a year. What you got to say about it?
p.s. This post was an unauthorized Kim post on Ken’s blog. Sorry….

Shakespeare Souffle #23

Oct 9, 2005. This is a special edition mini-kid friendly podcast made by and for kids (or adults who may wonder how our rambling chat sensibilities convey to
podcasting urchins). Or, alternately, if you like stories about picking
up dead squirrels.

Shakespeare Souffle #22

Oct 9, 2005. Another spooktacular episode of Shakespeare Souffle here. This time, turn up the volume to listen as a mellow but increasingly giggly Kim
and Ken regal you with details of theie rare night out involving: the
history of rock-n-roll, the Swedish band Dungen, skeevy things in
bathrooms and parks, the tale of our cursed band, and hideous maiming
escalator moments we have witnessed. Basically as rambly as ever and
more chock full of NOT FAMILY/WORK FRIENDLY type language and details
than ever before. But in the end, we redeem ourselves by interviewing
Jean and Zoe, a mother-daughter duo who recently protested the war in
DC and who visited to share some of their experiences anti-war chants
and favorite signs. If you can’t avoid us, join us. We dig feedback of
all natures too you know. Websites which tell you more about the
places/people we mention: codepink4peace.com, washingtonpost.com,
raginggrannies.com. Also, the podcast we envied for being so regular
and together and daggone funny, Chub Creek at chubcreek.com. Oh, and
the podcast we totally meant to talk about and will talk about next
time, Quirky Nomads at quirkynomads.com.

Shakespeare Souffle #21

Sep 25, 2005. Excuses for us, why we haven’t done a podcast in ages. Kim is too busy to even listen to podcasts, but she tries to. We do a cover of a Chub Creek song. We talk about the film Sin City. And oh, its not family-work safe this time, sorry! We’ll be G rated next time. Maybe. But there is something fun about saying nipples and penis a lot. Click here to listen

. August 22, 2005. In this show we discuss with alternating waves of giddy glee and horror how goofily we interviewed about podcasting. You just try to talk eloquently when there are hot lights and a camera aimed at you. There are outtakes from the interview so you can hear for yourself how FUN podcasting is! Then, we have a fireside chat about politics and Erikson’s 8 stages of man. We confess to our stagnation in the political arena and share some of our favorite political podcasts, such as Air America, Weekly Radio Address and Democracy Now. Then you can prop your feet up and listen as we take a fantastic voyage to the inside of our cat! Yes, feel free to nominate us for the PSA (Podcast Skit Awards).Or just drop us an email and let us know if you will be a subsriber or an unsubscriber. We welcome MP3’s of all sorts and promos and bumpers and original music. Click here to listen

Shakespeare Souffle #16 June 9, 2005. Tribute to Canada.

We put Canadian food versus the music to the test.
We’re not really sure though because no one sent us samples of the
food. Heck, we’re not even sure how to say half of the stuff. Then we
play some podsafe Canadian music; a song by Blinker the Star. There is
an interview with Andrea (Atypicallife.net) and Ron from New Brunswick.
A Canadian history lesson with Sarah at Poppins Classical Academy
(upsaid.com/teachermom/) out of Manitoba and another podsafe song by
Sheldon Kelly. Fiona and Kim compare and contrast some important facts
about Canada and the USA. Sage and Todd from Quirky Nomads
(quirkynomads.com) share their pink lollipop moments from Ontario. Then
our favorite Creekers Dave (Alberta) and Gary (Ontario) prove via their
podcasts that they don’t really say “eh” all that much.

Shakespeare Souffle

Check out our family’s podcast, Shakespeare Souffle. You may be saying to yourself, “self, podcast, hmm, what a strange word, what could it be?” A podcast is kind of an audio blog. We will try to do new ones frequently, so check back often.
